Regularizing a Singular Special Lagrangian Variety
Suppose M1 and M2 are two special Lagrangian submanifolds with boundary of R , n ≥ 3, that intersect transversally at one point p. The set M1 ∪M2 is a singular special Lagrangian variety with an isolated singularity at the point of intersection. Suppose further that the tangent planes at the intersection satisfy an angle criterion (which always holds in dimension n = 3). Then, M1 ∪ M2 is regula...

Suppose M1 and M2 are two special Lagrangian submanifolds of R 2n with boundary that intersect transversally at one point p. The set M1 ∪M2 is a singular special Lagrangian variety with an isolated singularity at the point of intersection. Suppose further that the tangent planes at the intersection satisfy an angle condition (which always holds in dimension n = 3). Then, M1 ∪ M2 is regularisabl...
متن کاملDecomposition of symplectic vector fields with respect to a fibration in lagrangian tori
Given a fibration of a symplectic manifold by lagrangian tori, we show that each symplectic vector field splits into two parts : the first is Hamiltonian and the second is symplectic and preserves the fibration. We then show an application of this result in the study of the regular deformations of completely integrable systems.
متن کاملMAXIMAL PRYM VARIETY AND MAXIMAL MORPHISM
We investigated maximal Prym varieties on finite fields by attaining their upper bounds on the number of rational points. This concept gave us a motivation for defining a generalized definition of maximal curves i.e. maximal morphisms. By MAGMA, we give some non-trivial examples of maximal morphisms that results in non-trivial examples of maximal Prym varieties.
متن کاملOn the discriminant locus of a Lagrangian fibration∗
Let X → Pn be an irreducible holomorphic symplectic manifold of dimension 2n fibred over Pn. Matsushita proved that the generic fibre is a holomorphic Lagrangian abelian variety. In this article we study the discriminant locus ∆ ⊂ Pn parametrizing singular fibres. Our main result is a formula for the degree of ∆, leading to bounds on the degree when X is a four-fold.
